Timi is the rare Cyprus picnic site that sits practically at sea level — a shady eucalyptus grove on the Timi – Paphos Airport road, just a kilometre before the airport, where the green of the trees meets the blue of the sea. It is one of the bigger sites in the Paphos district, with room for about 500 people, drinking water and barbecue hearths.

Large red tables stand in the deep shade of huge eucalyptus trees, and despite the nearby runway the grove feels surprisingly removed from everything — a place for long, unhurried lunches by the coast. There is no playground, so it suits quiet picnics more than family play days.

Walkers get something too: the long-distance E4 route passes right by the grove — the tables are barely 70 m off the path — making Timi a natural rest stop on a walk along this stretch of coast.
