The Kavos Trail is a compact circular walk around one of the highest and most dramatic corners of Cape Greko. Beginning near an old quarry, it crosses a landscape shaped by exposed rock, marine fossils, and abrupt cliffs that give the route a rugged, elevated character. The main reward is the open viewpoint from the cape, where the coastline feels wide, exposed, and strikingly clear on a bright day. It is an excellent short hike if you want a quick mix of geology, sea panoramas, and a stronger sense of the cape’s wild edge.
The main reward is the viewpoint from the top of the cape. From here, the trail opens into a wide coastal panorama, and on exceptionally clear days the long-distance visibility is impressive. The surrounding cliffs also give this part of Cape Greko a wilder, more rugged character than the gentler beaches nearby.
Although the walk is short, it feels more elevated and more exposed than some of the easier seaside routes in the same park. It suits hikers who want a quick outing with geology, viewpoints, and a strong sense of the cape’s edge.
