Lefkara - Metamorfoseos Tou Sotiros Church

The Lefkara – Metamorfoseos tou Sotiros Church Trail is a short circular walk with some of the best all-round views in the wider Lefkara area. Starting from one of two nearby points on the road from Pano Lefkara towards Vavatsinia, it opens towards Pano and Kato Lefkara, Kato Drys, the Dipotamos dam, Agios Minas Monastery, and even Stavrovouni in the distance. The route feels compact but very rewarding because the scenery keeps extending in multiple directions. It is a very strong choice for walkers who want a short panoramic route anchored in one of Cyprus’ most distinctive village landscapes.

The trail also links to the Lefkara – Kato Drys route, which adds to its value as part of a wider walking network. Even without a long distance, it offers a broad understanding of the surrounding terrain.

This is likely one of the better short hikes in the area for pure viewpoint value. It should especially suit visitors who want a manageable route with a lot of visual payoff.
