This 2km trail in the Troodos Mountains connects two mountain villages while passing significant cultural landmarks. The route passes by the medieval Church of Agios Georgios near Houlou village, a rare Byzantine structure testament to the region's spiritual heritage. Along the way, you'll encounter three restored watermills in the valley, reminders of traditional Cypriot grinding practices. The trail skirts the area of the former Turkish Cypriot village of Moronero, adding historical depth to the walk. Moderate difficulty with lush green valley views and mountainous terrain.

It’s not very well maintained and not the most interesting trail, but pleasant enough. It was quite a tricky trail for elderly parents as a lot of the trail is rocky with many loose stones, hard to know where the trail was at times, so I’m not sure I would say it was ‘easy’. It took us twice as long to do the trail than the estimated time. We didn’t see the watermills, but the church at the end was nice and a good place for my parents to rest and wait while I walked back & got the car to pick them up. I recommend closed shoes not sandals for this trail.
