Lemithou - Agios Georgios

This 2km trail in the Troodos Mountains connects two mountain villages while passing significant cultural landmarks. The route passes by the medieval Church of Agios Georgios near Houlou village, a rare Byzantine structure testament to the region's spiritual heritage. Along the way, you'll encounter three restored watermills in the valley, reminders of traditional Cypriot grinding practices. The trail skirts the area of the former Turkish Cypriot village of Moronero, adding historical depth to the walk. Moderate difficulty with lush green valley views and mountainous terrain.
