very nice hike, definitely has to be done autum, winter and spring. Have lots of water and appropriate snacks.

A rather challenging route around the Madari range. You can park your car at Doxa soi o Theos and ascend to the ridge gaining steadily height and leading to the Madari peak and the fire lookout. Juste before the ascent to the lookout, the trails descends on the northern ridge and will lead to Selladi tou Karamanli (nice rock formations just before arriving the the road) and continue on a shadowed path to Moutti tis Choras. From there, a nice trail ascends to the starting point (you do not have to follow the main road). To shorten things, you can only follow the ridge to Madari peak and back, which is the most impressive part.
