The Lagoudera – Agros Trail is a high-country route that combines orchards, vineyards, river crossings, and exposed ridge views into a more demanding mountain walk. Running between village landscape and the Madari – Papoutsa crest, it offers exactly the kind of mixed agricultural-and-upland scenery that gives central Cyprus its character. The route is described as difficult, which suits the sense of a trail that changes gradient and terrain as it climbs and traverses the ridge. It is a very good choice for hikers who want a serious village-to-mountain route rather than a short local walk.
The official Agros source emphasizes panoramic views and the passage through orchards of apple, cherry, and pear trees. That combination of cultivated land and mountain crest gives the trail a layered feel that is both scenic and strongly tied to local life.
This route should appeal especially to walkers who enjoy routes that gradually open into bigger views. It feels like a mountain transition trail rather than a single-site excursion.
Reviews

Demanding trail with a very steep uphill of you start from Agros. Great views. Good for summer evening. You can walk back by the asphalt road, total loop is exactly 10 km with 360 m of gain. Lots of vineyards and fruit trees on the North side of the trail.
