Agros – Kato Mylos
The Agros – Kato Mylos Trail is a circular walk through the picturesque Pitsilia mountain region that captures the heart of Cyprus's traditional rose and fruit-growing landscape. This 6.3 km route takes approximately two hours and winds through fields of cherry trees, pear orchards, and the famous rose gardens of Agros, which produce the region's celebrated rosewater. The path passes through mixed terrain including sections of native forest with centuries-old oaks, moving between cultivated agricultural areas and wild woodland to create a mosaic of color and character. The views across the surrounding hills feel spacious and inviting, while the cultural element—walking among productive tradition—adds dimension beyond scenic beauty. This is an excellent choice if you want to experience working Cyprus rather than just wilderness, and to understand the landscape through the eyes of those who cultivate it.
