The Pissouri Blue Route – Cape Aspro is a longer village-to-coast walk that adds a more exposed and dramatic edge to the descent from Pissouri Square towards the tourist area. Its name suggests the route’s defining feature: the passage via Cape Aspro, one of the most striking coastal sections in the area. That gives the hike a stronger scenic identity than a simple transfer between village and beach. It is a good choice for walkers who want the classic Pissouri village-to-sea journey with a bolder coastal character.
Because the route is linear, it feels like a real transition through landscape rather than a loop around a single attraction. Starting in the village and finishing near the coast helps emphasize the contrast between hillside settlement and shoreline setting.
With a longer distance and higher stated difficulty, this route likely suits hikers who want a more committed outing in the Pissouri area. It should appeal especially to those drawn to coastal headlands and end-of-walk sea atmosphere.

Breathtaking views. There is a steep uphill section but it is contained. Can also get down to the Lahanika beach and connect with the genesis trail but the descent is rather technical.
