Agia Paraskevi is one of the larger organised picnic sites in the Limassol hills, with room for around 650 people at about 582 m of altitude. It sits on the left side of the Limassol – Kalo Chorio road, some 3 km after the Gerasa junction and 3 km before the village itself, under the shade of tall evergreen trees.
For a family day out it is close to self-sufficient: there is drinking water, barbecue hearths, toilets and picnic tables, plus a children's playground, and the site is laid out to be wheelchair accessible. The combination of shade, space and facilities makes it a natural choice for larger gatherings and group outings.
It also puts a couple of proper walks within easy reach: the Kakomallis trail starts about 3 km away, and the Sta Achnaria tou Apostolou Pavlou trail begins roughly 4.7 km from the site.
