Dimes (also written Dymes) is the odd one out among the picnic spots of the Troodos area: not a state-forest site but the community park of a small Pitsilia village, laid out under pines below the church of Timios Prodromos at 926 metres. The village itself sits between Kyperounta, Pelendri, and Agros, about forty kilometres from Limassol, and is best known for apples that rank among the finest in Cyprus.

Little official information is published about the site's facilities, so treat it as a simple village picnic ground rather than a fully serviced excursion area — a very quiet one, with orchards and vineyards all around.

What makes it genuinely interesting for hikers is the cluster of trails at its doorstep: the Dimes - Pelendri trail — a pleasant, easy walk through pine woodland — starts some three hundred metres away, Diosmides - Geratzia begins under a kilometre from the park, and both versions of The Rodio of Agridia trail (linear and circular) start about 1.3 kilometres away, toward Agridia.
