Delikipos is a pine-forest picnic site in the low hills between Kornos and Lefkara, on the edge of the small village of the same name about three kilometres from Kornos. At 285 metres this is not yet mountain country, but the tall pines of the surrounding state forest give the place deep shade, resin scent, and a proper forest feel — the community's own guide describes the park as simply immersed in green.
The site is well set up for a long afternoon: drinking water, barbecue hearths, toilets, and wheelchair-accessible facilities, with room for close to 180 people and a large parking area opposite the entrance. It fills up on weekends and holidays, so an early arrival is worth it.
It is also one of the most convenient trailheads in the area: the Delikipos Forest trail starts practically at the picnic tables, about a hundred metres away, and the E4 European long-distance path passes within two hundred metres. For a longer day, the Lefkothea (Aetomoutti) trail begins a short drive away, just over four kilometres.
