Pikni is a large picnic site in the Akamas peninsula, set in the state forest above Peyia at about 377 m of altitude. It is well equipped for a full day out — drinking water, barbecue hearths, and wheelchair-accessible facilities — with room for around 470 people, which makes it one of the more substantial grounds in the western forests. There is no playground, but the scale and the shade make it a natural gathering spot on a hot Akamas afternoon.
The site sits within easy reach of the peninsula's trail network. The E4 European long-distance path passes about 300 m away, and the Mountiko trail is a little over a kilometre off; with a short drive you can also reach Matsikorido and the long Avakas Gorge route, so Pikni works well as a base for a morning walk and an afternoon at the tables.
