Profitis Ilias is a small hillside picnic spot in the Limassol district, sitting at about 668 m of altitude just outside the state forest, on the kind of high ground that so often carries the name of the Prophet Elias in Cyprus. It is a modest, quiet stop rather than a large organised ground — a place to pause among the hills on the way between villages.

What it does have is walking on its doorstep. The Lofou trail lies around two kilometres away, and with a short drive you can also reach Zalakas and the Neromylos (Water Mill) route, so the site works best as a resting point for anyone exploring the trails of this part of the Limassol uplands.
