Agios Georgios Kafkalou

The Agios Georgios Kafkalou Trail is a village nature walk that seems to be all about atmosphere, scent, and the slower pleasures of rural Cyprus. Starting near the Cultural Centre and looping back to the same point, it crosses a landscape of wild plants, olives, vineyards, pines, and other local vegetation at around 650 metres of elevation. The trail feels less like a dramatic destination hike and more like a chance to experience the colors, smells, and everyday natural richness of the area. It is a good choice for walkers who enjoy quieter inland routes with a strongly local character.
