Ariadni

The Ariadni is a moderately challenging circular trail near Gerakies in Nicosia that starts with a steep, invigorating ascent and rewards you with sweeping panoramic views of the Paphos Forest and the rolling Marathasa Valley. At about 4 km, it reaches the Kavallos fire lookout station perched high on the ridgeline, offering some of the finest vistas in the region. This versatile trail works well for winter hiking or overcast days since the exposed ridge sections can be hot in summer, while the descent brings you through a more sheltered environment where endemic plants and birdlife thrive.
