Kakokefalos - Mantra tou Kampiou (right)

The Kakokefalos – Mantra tou Kampiou (right) trail is a sustained 5.25 km descent down the right ridge of the Machairas mountain range to the historic picnic area of Mantra tou Kampiou. Like its left-variant sibling, this difficulty-level 3 route is almost entirely downhill, dropping 582 meters through rough, rocky terrain with sections of vertical rock that demand caution and proper mountain footwear. The trail rewards experienced hikers with panoramic views across the plain of Mesaoria and the villages of Larnaca and Nicosia districts, passing through lush mountain vegetation and historic stone ruins along the way.
