The Selladi tou Karamanli - Kannavia trail is a moderate 7 km linear route connecting high mountain forest near Saranti with the village of Kannavia in the Nicosia district. Following mixed stands of Golden oak and Calabrian pine through both shaded forest and open terrain, the hike takes approximately 1.5 hours and offers excellent views toward the scenic Kannavia–Agia Irene valley. The final 1.5 km transitions from forest to dirt and paved roads as you descend toward the village, providing a gradual shift from wilderness to settlement.

The trail sits at the heart of a larger Madari nature trail network, connecting with routes to Moutti tis Choras and Selladi tou Karamanli. This makes it ideal as either a standalone walk or as part of a multi-trail adventure through the Troodos foothills. The varied terrain and forest type ensure constant visual interest throughout the journey.

Starting from the Saranti-Spylia road, the route can be accessed from both paved and dirt road entry points, allowing flexibility in approach. The descent toward Kannavia is gentle enough for most fitness levels, making this an accessible mountain trail suitable for day-hikers and those exploring the broader Solea region.
