Xystarouda - Agiasma - Vasiliki

This demanding 10.5-km alpine trail through the Paphos Forest near Kykkos Monastery challenges experienced hikers with 2,200 feet of elevation gain and dense forest navigation. The route passes the holy spring (Agiasma) of Panagia tou Kykkos and crosses two streams before reaching the Vasiliki chapel, which displays archaeologically significant religious frescoes. Despite its difficulty, the trail rewards persistence with dramatic mountain vistas and pristine high-altitude forest ecosystems.
