Loumata ton Aeton
This 3.4 km trail through the Troodos National Forest Park near Kato Amiantos climbs along the Loumata ton Aeton River at 1,100m elevation through dense pine forest. The route passes beautiful hillsides and lush river vegetation, ending at Amiantos Park. A significant waypoint is the restored hideout of the EOKA fighters, connecting natural beauty with Cyprus's independence struggle. Flora includes endemic plants—terebinth, storax, strawberry tree, golden oak, laurel, and myrtle—thriving in the cool mountain microclimate. Moderate difficulty; can be extended into a circular route via village roads.

Nice shady trail with a river that doesn't dry even in August (at least this year). EOKA hideout near the end of the river part of the trail (when going up the river).
The secret lake. Great one. Easy. Done it in summer, spring and winter during snow.
