The Tisia tis Madaris Geo-Trail is a compact but rewarding circular route in the Madari area with some of the best mountain panoramas for its length. Starting near the fire lookout station at the end of the Madari road, it follows hard diabase ground, dry-stone walls, and a series of viewpoints that open towards Troodos, Solia, the Mesaoria Plain, Xyliatos Dam, and the Pitsilia villages. The route is not especially long, but it still feels elevated, scenic, and geologically distinctive. It is an excellent option for walkers who want a concise highland hike with maximum visual reward.
The Troodos Geopark source also highlights the route’s geological identity and the care needed around overhanging rocks. This gives the trail a slightly more interpretive and terrain-aware character than a standard mountain loop.
Because it is circular and moderate rather than extreme, it works very well as a focused Madari outing. It should especially appeal to walkers who enjoy viewpoints and geology more than distance.

Very nice trail with rock walls and scenic views around. One can see both Limassol and Nicosia in good weather. Hiking poles recommended.
