Delikipos Forest

The Delikipos Forest trail near Nicosia explores a magical valley described as "Shangri La of Cyprus," featuring wide, flat terrain with scattered pine trees and rocky limestone hills. This easy 2.9 km walk through the Aetomoutti forest valley offers a unique sense of enclosure and natural beauty, with low rocky hills and streams winding between them surrounded by mountains. Starting from the Delikipos picnic site, hikers can climb the rocky feature Psathas, which rises 200 metres above the valley and provides excellent panoramic views across the surrounding landscape. The trail is short, well-suited for all abilities, and just 31 km from Nicosia.
