The Baths of Rigena and Chlio Trail is a short circular walk near Moutoullas that combines river scenery, bridges, local legend, and an easy overall pace. Following the banks of the Setrachos River, it leads through a landscape associated with sulphurous springs and the old story of Rigena, who according to local myth bathed here during the Frankish period. Two Venetian bridges add a strong visual and historical note to the route, including one known as the “bridge of lovers.” It is a very appealing option for visitors who want a gentle walk with folklore, water, and heritage all in one compact outing.

The trail is easy to walk and includes interpretation along the way, which makes it feel more like a discovered place than a simple exercise route. The nearby Chlio waters also connect the landscape to older village practices, since local women once used the tepid sulphurous water here for washing clothes.

This is an excellent short trail for walkers who enjoy small-scale richness rather than distance. It feels intimate, layered, and very rooted in Marathasa history.
