Dymes is a short linear walk through the river valley below the mountain village of the same name, in the Pitsilia region of the Limassol district. Starting near the Dimes Picnic Site at the edge of the village, the path drops into a small canyon, crosses the streambed on a bridge, and threads between terraces of fruit trees before turning back — a compact, varied outing rather than a long ridge walk.
Dymes sits at roughly 960 metres in the heart of Pitsilia, between Kyperounta, Pelendri, and Agros, and is known locally for its apple orchards alongside vines and vegetable plots; those cultivated terraces are part of what the trail passes through. The village's name is traditionally traced to Dymi, an ancient city of Achaea in the Peloponnese, said to be the home of Kifeas, one of the leaders among the first Greek colonists who settled Cyprus around 1200 BC. The village's own landmark church, the Old Church of Timios Prodromos, was built in 1861 on the north side of Dymes and still stands as a protected monument, though it is no longer in regular use.
This is not the same route as the longer Dimes - Pelendri trail, which climbs out of the village toward Pelendri; Dymes stays close to the village and its river, making it a good short stop for anyone passing through Pitsilia.

Starts at a very good picknic site by the church. A bit overgrown in the beginning, but otherwise in good condition. There's an absolutely amazing little canyon at the end of the trail. Lots of orchards on the way, 3 bridges (one got damaged, but it ok to walk), several rather steep hills/stairways. I'd recommend hiking poles.
