Kykkos - Panagia - Chrysorrogiatissa (right)

Kykkos - Panagia - Chrysorrogiatissa (right) is a long linear crossing of the Paphos Forest, starting near Kykkos Monastery and finishing at Chrysorrogiatissa Monastery just beyond Pano Panagia. Over roughly 24 km it climbs about 1,090 m and descends about 1,350 m, so it is a full day for fit, self-sufficient hikers. The first stretch runs along the high ground near Kykkos at around 1,150 m, then the path drops steadily into a river valley around 500 m before working its way back up towards Panagia.

The first 13 km are shared with Kykkos - Panagia - Chrysorrogiatissa (left), and much of that opening section follows the E4. Where the two variants split, after the valley floor, the right variant takes a more northerly line: it follows parts of the Gefyria and Moutti ton Anemon Path routes, climbs to around 850 m, dips again and passes right by Monashilaka picnic site before rejoining the left variant on the approach to Panagia. That detour makes it about 2.5 km longer and a little over 100 m more climbing than the left variant.

The reward for the extra effort is a route with more up-and-down character in its second half and a convenient picnic stop late in the day. Both ends are served by monasteries rather than trailheads, so plan transport for the linear finish in advance.
